Small portions, poor quality. Better of at a Wetherspoons!

Review of breakfast.
Guests at the adjacent Premier Inn Glasgow Motherwell have breakfast here. The restaurant is also open to the public for breakfast.
Premier Inn breakfasts are good. There's plenty of choice of cereals, fruit, crumpets, croissants and bread along with unlimited fruit juices and tea/ coffee. Porridge is available to order as well. A cooked breakfast is also available which here is served to order (at some Premier Inns the cooked breakfast is served buffet style) and you can choose as much or as little as you like.
Continental breakfast is currently £7.50 and the full breakfast (continental and cooked) is £9.50. Up to 2 children under 16 per paying adult receive a free breakfast when staying at Premier Inn.

Was quite pricey but used 40% off voucher so wasn't to bad food was good though but waited an hour for dinner kids were getting fed up then had to go up and tell them wanted desert waited about half hour for that
Lovely summer day at Newhouse. On another note I wouldn't order the Tandoori Style Chicken Burger again. The batter was more like tyre rubber and tasted, well I don't know what it tasted of, except it was not nice. I ate the chicken and chips, which were on a side plate as it came with fries which I specifically asked for it not to. So chips on the side was the remedy to their error. I asked if the batter was usually like this and the reply was mmmmm........I got a refund as it was one of the poorest meals I'd ever had at Newhouse.

Went 2 years ago and wasn't impressed but decided to try again as the place changed company. Sadly still left with the same impression. Changed a lot of the interior for the better. Staff friendly but somewhat unattentive - the 'closed' layout probably not helping.
Restaurant wasn't overly busy and when we arrived we waited to be seated. We were left standing for a good while until a member of staff acknowledged us. Beefeater have changed their menu and not for the better. Very overpriced for what you get. Portion sizes do not reflect the price. You'd be forgiven if you had thought you'd ordered a kids portion. When we got our meal, my wife asked for a refill for her drink. By the time she got it, she had already finished her meal.
Very disappointed.
