  The thing that frustrates me about Motherwell McDonald’s is that it could be good and I desperately want it to be good (as it’s my local)… but it’s just not. The food is often terrible - I go in to order and collect fresh yet I get luke warm food that feels like it’s been driven in from 30 mins away. Add to that there’s just no care with the food - important customisations (eg no cheese) are frequently missed causing drama, waits for recooks and then everyone else in the party has even colder food, plus even when it is correct it’s not done well - for example my cheeseburger tonight looked like 2 cheeseburgers because the top had slid so far away from the bottom. If you dare to politely question your order, they are horrifically rude and treat you like you’re the problem. No offence but I politely asked if I could have my order corrected to what I ordered / pain for and you’re giving me attitude?!? On top of that the general service is terrible and rude. There’s never receipts in the self serve machine which is irritating. The place is often dirty (though I will say some of the staff seem to be trying their best with this). It’s also apparently not allowed to sit at certain times of the evening which is a choice, but tonight it led to an incredibly rude situation where we sat at a table when we had ordered as there was nothing to say we couldn’t, only for a staff member to come up and erect a barrier so close to us that the ribbon thing was digging into my husbands arm. If it’s that much of an issue, politely ask us to shift! Passively aggressively roping us in and glaring at us just makes us not want to return. Please do better Motherwell Maccas. I want to be a customer but you’re making it really hard for me :(

  Don't order on app for a delivery this place always gets your order messed up , always missing items and when you try going through app you get nowhere and if you try and phone the store they never answer

  Worse McDonalds i have ever been to. I refuse to eat from here anymore as they never read your adjustments and if they mess up and you require a refund you will be huffed and puffed at by the teenage staff and then the fully grown manager. You need to retrain all your staff management included.

  Popped into get breakfast before heading to work i headed into the restaurant at 8am and had to complain about my food as soon as I received it as when I opened my sausage and egg muffin the bottom part of my muffin looked 1/2 eaten so when I took it back to service counter and showed them i then had to wait 5mins for a fresh one and by the time I received my new one my coffee was cooler than I'd like
