- THThomas HallApr 24, 20261.0This place takes advantage being the only shop in the area so prices are already high. To make it worse it has like 1 member of staff working the tills so if you went with a trolley you couldn't. It relys heavily on self checkout users. The self checkouts don't work great if you bring your own bags constantly not reading the item etc so your stuck waiting on a staff to clear it. Next because it's 2026 and we are an advanced civilization they put the steaks in a bullet proof , steal proof, radioactive fallout proof box. So if your buying a steak good luck I spent 10mins at the self checkout looking lost when all I needed was someone to remove the steak from the box. The self checkouts say press for help which I did 4 times but the worker just kept clearing it behind the counter rather than coming to help. It was either just leave the steak or persist on. Got fed up so shouted over to the worker to actually come over and help since that's what the button is for but I shouldnt need to do any of this, a 3min shopping trip turned into a 15mins of rage bait hell. Can't we just buy a steak and go? Your pushing self checkouts on folk then making it impossible too.
