  Smells like Piss. I’m assuming it’s due to the drunks from the surrounding pubs, but makes it horrible as the smell lingers from right outside to then following you inside the store. Maybe just clean the sidewalks just outside before store opening… 🙏🤷‍♀️

  Staff member just assumed I was stealing when I hadn’t even finished scanning all my items, I had 2 of the same item but was paying on 2 different cards because one wasn’t for me, before I had even finished doing what I was doing she called over ‘you going to pay for both of those?’ Uhhh yes? I wasn’t finished???

  I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Tesco Express. The staff treated us in a very disrespectful and unprofessional manner. We were wrongly accused of stealing alcohol, even though we had already paid for it. Instead of checking the receipt or confirming the purchase first, they made false allegations in front of other customers, which was embarrassing and upsetting. After they finally checked their records, they realised that we had in fact paid for the item, but by then the damage had already been done. There was no proper apology for the inconvenience or humiliation we experienced. To make matters worse, the security guard was abusive and spoke to us in a very aggressive and intimidating manner. The staff also raised their voices and behaved rudely throughout the entire incident. No customer deserves to be treated with suspicion or disrespect without any evidence. If there is ever any confusion regarding a purchase, it should be handled calmly, professionally, and respectfully, not with accusations and aggression. I understand that staff have a responsibility to prevent theft, but they also have a responsibility to treat customers with dignity and verify the facts before making such serious allegations. This experience left us feeling humiliated and unwelcome, and I sincerely hope Tesco addresses the behaviour of the staff and security team so that no other customer has to go through the same treatment.

  The customer service here is awful. I live in the local area and there have been countless times where the lady on the till was so rude, for absolutely no reason, and it’s no better with security. Store says it closes at 11, not a problem, so when i show up at 10:40-45, why am i being told the store is closed. It’s not even as if im trying to do a big shop right before they close, sometimes i just need a quick drink to take back to work. If they close at 10 change it online!!! Someone tell that little girl on the till that if she doesn’t like her job, she should get a new one.
