  Absolutely appalling customer service. The young guy at the till was rude from the moment I approached and came across like he couldn’t care less about his job. The older lady working alongside him wasn’t any better. I asked for a straw at the Costa machine because the dispenser was empty. Instead of helping, they just pointed and said, “It’s there.” I explained that it was empty and politely asked if I could have one. They both seemed incredibly reluctant to help. The older lady said she’d go and get one, then disappeared. I stood there waiting for several minutes, and no one came back or even acknowledged that I was still waiting. In the end, I gave up and left. It’s not about the straw, it’s about the complete lack of basic customer service. Both members of staff gave the impression they didn’t want to be there and couldn’t be bothered to help a customer with a simple request. Very poor service, unprofessional attitudes, and a genuinely disappointing experience. I won’t be returning if this is the standard customers can expect.

  Very disappointing customer service. Visited on Wednesday around 1pm and the elderly lady on the till was extremely rude and dismissive. No smile, no manners, not even a simple “thank you.” She acted as if customers were a burden for walking into the store. Management seriously needs to remind staff that basic respect and politeness towards customers should be the bare minimum.
