  closes early when it says 11pm… some people want to pop in before 11pm when they finish work but this tescos decides to make its own rules and shut before 11pm everyday even if it’s only 5 minutes or sometimes more, it’s frustrating for those who finish late at work and wanna pop in for a drink before 11pm , also the older lady who works early in the mornings is a spiteful woman and me and multiple of my staff who work close by have had issues with her and her professionalism, the fact she still has a job there when she has been reported multiple times at the store in person and there is loads of comments about her on the reviews shows that this store doesn’t care remotely about its image.

  I have been into this Tesco on two separate occasions and both times the staff were incredibly rude and made me feel unwelcome. I understand not having someone on the till if you are short staffed as there are self service tills (which only take card), but when there are four staff in a tiny tesco who had been continuously underfoot the rest of the time I was in there and it takes almost 10 minutes for anyone to notice that someone is waiting (and even then it took the security guard getting them) it's genuinely ridiculous. Even once I did get served, I was treated like an inconvenience because I was paying with a £10 pound note not a smaller denomination.

  Disgustingly rude security officer very loudly accused me of stealing my meal deal in front of the whole shop. The self service till had frozen, there were no staff to ask for help and I moved onto another as I was on my way to work and couldn't wait. I hadn't requested a receipt and an equally rude member of staff had to check the transactions. I was getting distressed at this point, but not an apology between them when the transactions were found on the till. Teach your store employees some manners and basic customer service skills, Tesco!

  Security guy VERY rude to a guy that had a Tesco bag and a Sainsbury’s bag. Accusing him of steeling at the door. The security guy said he was just doing his job. But no customer service in the interaction. I appreciate they need to check but the language from the security guy was extremely inappropriate. I told him he was rude on two occasions and he patronisingly said “thank you”. Again, not great customer service if another customer feels he hasn’t done something correctly. It’s a good job it’s not my local Tesco. I appreciate inner city Tesco’s need security. But they should be trained in customer service as well as theft control. Thanks JKW
