Soak up our friendly service and homely charm here at the Johnson Arms in Dunkirk, Nottingham. The pub has stood proudly on the side of the river Leen since it was called the Abbey Tavern in the 1860s, before Frank Johnson bought the building in 1904 and renamed it the Johnson Arms. We’re the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy our delicious menu with your favourite drink in hand.

The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the pub is always clean and well looked after, and there’s a fantastic selection of drinks. Whether you’re popping in for a quick pint or spending the whole evening there, it’s a brilliant place to relax. A special mention has to go to the manager, Gemma. She does an amazing job and is a huge part of what makes the pub so special. She’s friendly, approachable, and clearly cares about both the customers and her team. Her hard work shows in every aspect of the pub, and she always goes the extra mile to make sure everyone has a great experience. If you’re looking for a proper local with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, I can’t recommend The Johnson Arms highly enough. I’ll definitely be back!
