My pizza was not cooked for long enough, and to my absolute disgust contained a human hair, embedded in the pizza.
I had taken a photo of the pizza to show my daughter what I was having for dinner, I subsequently sent this to the Bulwell store, along with the issues I had experienced.
After a very long wait, and numerous emails, I received a reply from John, stating the pizza looked fine, and he couldn’t see a hair on it!!!
I was absolutely flabbergasted, of course you can’t see a human hair embedded in the pizza with the naked eye!
I then raised it with Head office, who offered me another pizza…but only to be obtained from the Bulwell branch.
This was absolutely not an option I wished to persue, given my previous experience, and the very cavalier response from John (the manager?)
When I asked instead for a refund…which was the grand sum of £20…I was told absolutely not, effectively accused of lying about the hair, and told the conversation was over.
I have been a loyal customer of this store for over 20 years, never had an issue before, but when I do, this is the response I get!
I will never order from Dominoes again, the hideous experience of having a human hair end up in mouth was so disgusting, it made me vomit.
Now I appreciate mistakes occur,but the way a company responds to those mistakes is, to me, indicative of the ethos of the company.
I have reported this matter to environmental health, which could have been avoided with a simple apology.
