  Had a very pleasant lunch here with friends, the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great it felt open and easy to talk and everywhere was clean. We all really enjoyed the food and the service was fast.

  We got a cold drink there on a very hot day, for which we were grateful. Most of the menu items weren't available so you could only get a hot meal (in the 30° heat). The bar tender didn't smile once despite our attempts, and the outdoor seating area, whilst ample, was littered with discarded menus, tissues and food items on the floor. Most of the fellow customers were very friendly which improved the atmosphere and experience.

  We have dined here for 3 evenings. Amba (I think the name is correct?) made sure we were looked after, had everything we needed, and that everything was to our satisfaction. A rare quality in pub food nowadays. Keep doing whst you are doing, and we will see you again later this year!!!!

  Overall a lousy experience. There was only one lady taking orders and serving the tables and even with a not bustling evening she quickly became overwhelmed. Our main meals arrived fairly quickly, but ordering and waiting for desserts took an age, with several requests to the waitress to order met with ‘just give me a minute’ which became 10, then 15 then…..only one bar staff, although another barman wandered in at one point but then disappeared again. Food was average but nothing spectacular for the price. The men’s toilets were appalling. The lock on the cubicle was broken and the fancy designer wash bowl felt like it was going to topple over, water dribbling out. Cannot believe this place has had so many 4 star reviews if this is typical of their service. Will absolutely never go back.

  Came for dinner with family and dog. Had really good burgers, sausage and mash and cottage pie. Cant fault a thing. Food hot and tasty. Will definitely come again when In wells
