Ideally located next to the broads. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Food is lovely but expensive. You can park in the pub car park if you buy food from them or alternatively pay for parking. Very dog friendly.

Monday 22nd June 2026 So arrived at 5:30pm, I see it’s ‘Steak Frites Monday’ available from 5pm, Nope We’re Out!??! Ok so we’ll have a Sauvignon Blanc and a Cider, Nope We’re out of Sauvignon Blanc and we’ll try and short serve your cider by an inch! Funny that, because the cider is called Inch’s cider. Had to ask server to fill the pint glass. Starters arrived at 6:50 by one very sorry waitress and then one stroppy waitress with cutlery who was clearly annoyed that we had the gall to complain.

Cozy pub right on the riverside with lots of outdoor and indoor seating and parking. Nice menu not too fancy or too basic. Lost a star as they don't serve Aspal on tap 😔

Beautiful pub in the most picturesque location. We came on a sunny Wednesday and despite there being plenty of tables available, we were told the kitchen had stopped taking orders because they were too busy and the chef was on his knees. Staff said the kitchen would be back open in less than an hour so we agreed to have a drink and wait. We kept checking back but the staff seemed more and more stressed and under pressure which created a bit of a negative environment. We eventually left without any food and were sad to do so. The menu looks great, but for the prices the service really should be more professional. This pub has so much potential but I think it needs some more effective management.
