The shop was really busy - it was lunch time during the Easter hols so it felt really chaotic with staff trying to clear the queue by yelling at them. As someone who has worked in retail I can't imagine ever talking to customers this way!

- DSDavid StannardFeb 14, 20261.0Very rude female Manager that works here I went in about 4 minutes before they were closing they was about to throw away the Pizzas that hadn't sold I bought 1 at £2.20 I asked the bloke for 1 Mayonnaise dip he gave me 1 no problems but the Manager told him off for giving me a Mayonnaise pot of sauce she said to him only give them out to customers buying Hot food items. This is how petty the Manager is here I paid £2.20 for a Pizza that was about to go to waste and this how you get treated over a bit of sauce. Retrain your Manager Greggs.

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.

In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
