The Kings Head is a traditional seaside pub in the coastal town of Cromer, right on the High Street and just a short walk away from its famous pier.
The town is beautiful all year round, and, if a beach day isn’t your thing, we’re also within easy reach of the Norfolk Coastal Path – a great way to enjoy Norfolk’s fresh sea air and dramatic landscapes.

- SMSC MAug 9, 20263.0Disappointed. Made a reservation, but no-one seemed to know where to seat us! Then suggested a high table under a TV, with people watching sport! No thanks. Ended up sat outside. Disorganised at the bar, staff sat around doing nothing! Long wait for the food and fairly mediocre when it arrived. Wouldn’t return.
- PWPauline WallisAug 8, 20262.0Went here tonight after doing the pier show matinee. Everywhere was busy so we were happy to go here for ‘home cooked food’. During our wait we saw a member of staff shouting at staff, throwing bottles aggressively into a bin and slamming glasses onto the bar. He looked sullen and angry as he walked around the place and at one point was shouting at staff behind the bar. We saw two tables leave - not sure why. Our food was not great- overcooked and obviously not ‘home cooked’. I was compelled to ask a waitress if all was well as I’d seen her and others being shouted at by angry man. She told us that he wasn’t staff, had learning difficulties and loved helping. We felt awkward and left. So to sum up- food was not good, staff were brilliant and hard working but their helper didn’t improve the experience although I love that he wants to help. Maybe give him more guidance.

- KNKeith NieldJul 27, 20261.0My wife and her friends have recently had an apaling experience at The King's Head Cromer. The meals were late, cold and two of the ladies never even got theirs. When asked the server was rude, ignorant and basically told them they were told to wait, this was in a loud aggressive and totally unacceptable manner. While the management have said they will refund SOME of the money, all of it should have been given back straight away and not make them wait for it. So if you read this message management then do the right thing repay all the money

It turned an ordinary evening into one we'll remember for a long time. I especially want to thank the manager. You can tell when a place is led by someone who genuinely cares about both the customers and the team. The atmosphere you've created is warm, welcoming and full of life. Great management is reflected in the staff, and it really shows here. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive and genuinely seemed to enjoy working there, which says a lot about your leadership. It's rare to find a pub where you instantly feel comfortable and included, but that's exactly how we felt. Thank you for creating such a brilliant environment where everyone can relax, laugh and have a great time. We'll definitely be coming back, and I'll be recommending the Kings Head to anyone visiting Cromer. Thank you for making our evening so special! You should be very proud of what you've created!
