The worst Zizzi experience so far. Grumpy old waitresses with no smile who seemed like they were being forced to work . Got the order wrong and no apologies. Been to two different Zizzis in two different cities in the past week and had a great experience and hence returning.

Lovely place and tried the risotto with chicken. Different style of serving but no extra point as the dish was served warm rather then pipping hot and chicken in risotto is best served marinating with the sauce and not dangling on a bbq stick with no flavour. Everything else was ok.

The food is always great here especially the garlic bread and pastas. However, both times I have been in the last few months we have had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for the bill. On one of these occasions there were only three tables of guests and it still took the waitress 30 minutes to ask if we wanted the bill, and then another 10 minutes to let us pay. Waiting this amount of time and feeling like we are not be acknowledged is a shame.

Even though Zizzi is a well-known chain, it still manages to offer a genuinely enjoyable Italian dining experience with a warm atmosphere and attentive service. We ordered a variety of starters along with pizza and calzone, and everything was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The cocktails were also excellent and complemented the meal perfectly. A relaxed and polished experience overall, and certainly a place I would happily recommend.
