    First time visiting a TGI Fridays, and I have to say, it wasn't the best first impression—though that is entirely down to management, not the hardworking staff. We visited on a Wednesday evening, and the restaurant was virtually empty. Honestly, I'm not surprised. It was the hottest day of the year, and the venue had absolutely no air conditioning running. The staff were clearly struggling, especially the kitchen team, to the point where the working conditions felt genuinely unsafe. I later found out the air conditioning had actually been broken for over a month. When it came to the service, the staff themselves were fantastic—super polite, all smiles, and incredibly professional. Unfortunately, they were forced to spend the night apologizing for management's bizarre decisions. For starters, the promotional advertisement sitting right in front of me on the table was completely misleading. When I tried to order the 2-for-1 cocktail offer, I was told it wasn't valid until next week. When I asked why the promos were already out, the staff explained there had been a mistake; they were ordered to put the new menus out early but just tell everyone they couldn't use them yet. To top off the administrative mess, the venue was unable to produce a VAT receipt, promising one would be emailed the next day (spoiler alert: it wasn't). Now for the genuine good: the food. Staff tood my order incuding my modifications Despite the stifling kitchen conditions, everything was prepared well, presented perfectly, and tasted great. The staff were absolute champions. They dealt with some incredibly poor upper-management decisions with total professionalism, keeping smiles on their faces and doing the absolute best they could—all while the manager was likely sitting comfortably in a cool, air-conditioned office. Kudos to the floor and kitchen team, but management seriously needs to step up.

    Courtney looked after us super-amazingly well. Hottest day of the year and she single-handedly looked after everyone with her joyous, efficient and ultra-friendly service. She definitely went the extra mile to make our lunch visit truly memorable, amd special recognition is very much deserved.

    I recently had a fantastic dining experience at TGI Fridays in Milton Keynes, and a large part of that was thanks to our server, Courtney. ​Courtney was incredibly welcoming from the moment we sat down. She was attentive throughout the entire meal, ensuring our drinks were always topped up and that we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out was her friendly, professional attitude; she navigated a busy shift with ease and handled our table with genuine care. ​It is rare to receive such high-quality, personal service, and it made our visit truly enjoyable. If you’re heading to the Milton Keynes branch soon, you’re in great hands if you have Courtney looking after you.

    *updated, when finally had contact from the manager, they have refunded the duplicate payment. Visited saturday, meal was ok, when we came to pay we were informed the till went down and our payment didn't complete (even though we showed them the authorisation on our card app) we were told it wouldn't be deducted. So me paid again after alot of waiting about and were assured it would be fine. 2 payments have been taken🤬 and no response from the email address we were given for the duty manager. Dreadful customer service.

    Visited last Thursday, walked into a totally empty restaurant, to be pushed past by two young girls coming out. I stood in the restaurant calling out for any staff members, anyone here !!! Then a young waitress came out saying where’s those girls gone , then told me the had run off and not paid their £129 bill . Maybe if staff were in the restaurant you wouldn’t get runners. I was shown to a seat , I sat and was asked if I could order quickly as they want to stop taking orders it was 9:15pm they wanted to get home . Was asked if they could bring both courses out together which wasn’t a problem to me . I sat and then more people turned up for seating the waitress continued moaning and swearing under her breath that she wasn’t going to finish early and will now be there till midnight. She continued to hurry the later customers to hurry up with their food orders as they are closing the kitchen. Another customer mentioned they thought the place was open till 10:30pm I found that the whole experience uncomfortable from start to finish. I have always enjoyed eating in your chain but this was my 1st visit to this branch and I honestly can’t see me going back in if I’m ever in the area again.
