Came here yesterday to celebrate our wedding anniversary and was really looked after by our server Gosia. We both work in hospitality and we thought she went beyond, making sure we had everything we needed. The little extra treat was really lovely and much appreciated. The food also arrived hot and we really enjoyed it. Looking forward to returning soon.

Staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating, made us feel very welcome indeed. Food was tasty, quick to be served and it was no trouble at all for us to bring our own birthday cake. Zizzi membership provided a great discount on the overall bill which was an extra pleasant surprise. Again, a final shout out to the staff, they really made the whole experience memorable.

We had a table booked and arrived on time, but unfortunately the experience started very poorly. As there was nobody at the entrance and no sign asking guests to wait outside, we stepped in to enquire about our reservation. One male staff member reacted very rudely and started shouting at us for entering the restaurant, which was completely unprofessional and insulting . It was disappointing that no manager or senior staff member was available to handle the situation properly.

I placed an online order through a food delivery app, and the experience was unacceptable. The delay was excessive, and the delivery driver later explained why — and even showed video evidence. This business routinely forces delivery drivers to wait outside, which directly impacts customers. These drivers are collecting food on our behalf, yet they are treated poorly, and in turn, so are paying customers. My food was left sitting on the counter long enough to go cold, despite the driver using a thermal bag. Worse still, staff ignored the driver for an extended period while one employee was socialising with friends instead of doing their job. This level of unprofessionalism is shocking. I’ve experienced repeated delays from this business before, but this incident confirms a clear pattern of poor service and disregard for customers. I will not be ordering from this so-called “restaurant” again. There are plenty of other businesses there at Rushden Lakes that offer both efficient service and proper hospitality — something this establishment clearly fails to provide.

Disappointed. ☹️ Ordered before others who finished their starters while we were still waiting for our starter. Noticed other tables around us being attended to more than once and after 35 minutes of waiting for starter and not being been given any acknowledgement or update, we had to ask. We were told they’d check and that there must of been a mix up. At which point we decided to leave. If it wasn’t on its way, 35 minutes feels too long to wait for a starter with no acknowledgement or update. If it was a special occasion or we were going to cinema after, it would have ruined our night so unfortunately can’t recommend this particular restaurant. I appreciate it’s a busy restaurant but went to an equally as busy restaurant since which exceeded expectations.
