  I regularly shop in Tesco Gillingham however, on Sunday 2nd of August, a member of staff called SHAZ accused me of stealing bags, for which I paid for. I highlighted how the incident made me feel and how SHAZ’S behaviour came across escalated and confrontational to the bakery manager (Ricky Parmenter) who dismissed the incident, was extremely unprofessional, not apologetic and appeared to defend SHAZ’S behaviour. I’ve submitted a complaint regarding this. DO BETTER AND TREAT THOSE HOW YOU WISH TO BE TREATED.

  got asked for ID to buy a coffee product, i understand it is store policy but i am obviously over 16, i was wearing a work uniform as well to add to it - didn’t have my id on me so it was taken! i would completely understand if it was alcohol or other products as it is the law to be 18 or over to purchase and there is challenge 25, and selling it without id to someone looking under 25 meaning they may well be under 18 would certainly land the shop and tescos in legal trouble, but coffee is just store policy and not law anywhere in the united kingdom as of july 2026, absolutely ridiculous
