  Asked for no lettuce in burger, staff said can't make adjustments. Had to stand at counter and pick the lettuce from my 6 year olds burger. Less than impressed.

  Came in at 7pm just now and was told there was an "issue and they couldn't take orders". And it could be 30 mins to 60 mins to fix the issue - which coincidentally was closing time and the place was already cleaned and things being put away ready to shoot off at closing time.

  The food is lovely, always fresh and hot, the problem is the delays. Drive thru visit for a chicken royale and fries and 6 chilli cheese bites, took over 10 minutes. The car behind me got fed up and drove off. As I say, food is incredible and lovely, the delay needs addressing because the wait times shouldn't be that bad

  Upon arriving, we placed an order that included a Whopper meal and a Double Bacon XL Cheese meal. Shortly after paying, we noticed another waiting customer being called to the counter and told an item from their order was unavailable. A few minutes later, my friend was also summoned and informed that the restaurant had completely run out of beef burgers. The staff then asked if we would like chicken burgers instead. ​We immediately declined and requested a full refund. As we were leaving, we asked another table of customers about their experience. They confirmed that they too had ordered beef burgers and were only told about the shortage after they had paid. ​This timeline makes it absolutely clear that your staff knew the branch was completely out of beef before they took our order and our money. Taking payment for items you know you cannot provide, only to push an alternative product after the transaction is complete, is a highly deceptive sales practice. It wastes the time of your customers and damages the trust in your brand. ​I would like an explanation as to why staff are allowed to withhold stock issues until after payments are processed. I expect this matter to be addressed with the Teesside Leisure Park management team to ensure future customers are treated with honesty and transparency.
