  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely incredible service – Lucyna is a total asset to TGI Fridays! We visited recently and were looked after by Lucyna, and I honestly have to say her service was like nothing I have ever experienced anywhere before. She was absolutely brilliant from start to finish! Lucyna was warm, friendly and so attentive – constantly checking in on us to make sure everything was perfect, our food was lovely and we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for her at all. At the end of our meal we asked for coffee, and she kindly explained the machine was unfortunately out of order. Instead of just saying no, she went above and beyond and offered us the lovely instant staff coffee instead – such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated how much effort she made to still help us. I was so blown away by how wonderful she was that I actually called the manager over personally just to tell them exactly what an amazing member of staff she is. Lucyna represents everything great about TGI Fridays – friendly, professional and always going the extra mile. You are so lucky to have her! Thank you Lucyna, you made our visit absolutely perfect 🥰

  Awful service. The rest of my party recieved their food and I had nothing. All I ordered was fries and a drink. By the time my group had finished their food I was asked if I was ready for the bill? I said I still hadn’t recieved my food and that I didn’t want to pay for the drink as I got it to go with my food. They offered the fries again but obviously everyone else had finished eating by then. Very rude interaction from the servers and I’ve left paying £5 for a Fanta that I only bought to go with the food I never recieved! Update: my friend has also been sick an hour after eating it!

  ⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointed with our visit to TGI Fridays at the Trafford Centre. My burger wasn't cooked properly, and when I mentioned it, the waiter offered to take it back to be "heated up" rather than having a fresh one prepared. That's not what I'd expect when a burger hasn't been cooked correctly. To make matters worse, some of the sides were missing when the meals arrived, the dips didn't turn up until around 20 minutes after the food had been served, and when the bill came we were charged for drinks we hadn't even ordered. It's a shame because TGI Fridays was once a chain you could rely on, but this visit suggests standards have slipped badly. Sadly, another once-respected restaurant chain that seems to be going down the pan.

  first and last time sadly. the food arrived stone cold, we had one dish remade but it was microwaved so arrived back soggy we waited a while for food which we didn’t mind, but it seemed clear that it was due to service rather than making the food - anything that was still slightly warm had been left under a lamp the manager we spoke to was argumentative. i worked in hospitality and know that when it’s busy etc mistakes happen. i didn’t want to cause a fuss but he was very defensive. the toilets were covered in poo. straight poo on the seats and the others had broken locks. not super hygenic. when i mentioned this he told me “well nobody came and told me that’s all it takes”. sorry, but i don’t think it is my responsibility to ensure that your restaurant is cleaned. very rude and not a single apology. we left with 10% off the bill as an apology but as you can imagine, it’s not cheap. the staff were friendly but honestly just a very disappointing experience

The bartenders are incredibly charismatic and put on a real show making the cocktails, which are excellent value if you catch them on their regular "2 for £16" promotion. On the food side, the legendary sesame chicken strips coated in that sweet, smoky glaze remain an absolute standout and taste exactly as good as they did years ago. The service is also worth a mention; despite the chaotic rush of a busy shopping centre, the floor staff are usually full of character, engaging, and fantastic with kids. ​The Drawbacks However, the experience can feel a bit hit-and-miss when it comes to value for money. If you aren't ordering from one of their set menus (like the Sunday to Thursday 2-course deal), a standard meal can become surprisingly expensive for what is ultimately casual high-street dining. ​While the portions are generous, some of the main courses can lack consistency. On peak days, the burgers and fries can occasionally arrive a little lukewarm or dry, suggesting they’ve spent a bit too long waiting on the pass during kitchen rushes. Furthermore, because of its prime location next to the cinema and main leisure entrance, the waiting times for a walk-in table on a Friday night or a rainy weekend afternoon can stretch well over 45 minutes. ​The Verdict TGI Fridays delivers exactly the lively, unpretentious American experience you expect.
