  This place is like if a group of mates opened their own fake Tesco for a laugh, and if the real Tesco's legal team checked in they'd be like whoa whoa you absolutely cannot use our name for this shambles. They have a fake front door they open once every couple weeks for a random hour but is otherwise kept locked, always incredibly limited stock, the self service machines always build up a massive queue because nobody's watching em, and there's often people hanging round outside asking people to buy things for them. Put it this way I go in there a lot because it's right near my house and I have no regrets about posting this because there is zero shot anyone there cares enough to check the reviews.

  This store has a easy access car park to the rear, with wide space parking bays. There are two entrances, one facing the car park and another towards Stockport Road where there is a cash point. I didn't do any shopping, only used cash point.

  Tesco Superstore is one of those places that simply does the job — reliably. It’s spacious, easy to navigate, and usually well-stocked across the basics: fresh produce, bakery, household items, and the “grab-and-go” bits when you’re in a rush. I also appreciate the consistency: you know what you’re getting, and it’s rare to leave without finding what you came for. The layout is generally straightforward, and self-checkouts make quick trips faster (when they’re not overloaded). Staff have been helpful whenever I’ve needed something specific, and the store feels clean and organised most of the time. Prices can vary depending on promotions, but with Clubcard deals it’s often good value — especially for staples. Parking is usually decent too, which matters when you’re doing a bigger shop. Tip: if you want a calmer experience, go early morning or later evening — peak hours can get busy, especially on weekends.
