  This is, without question, the worst Tesco I have ever visited. Every trip leaves me feeling uncomfortable, embarrassed and frustrated. The attitude of many of the staff is shockingly rude and confrontational. On multiple occasions I’ve felt like customers are treated with suspicion rather than respect. I’ve experienced staff following people around the store, asking to inspect personal bags and speaking to customers in a way that feels deliberately humiliating. Instead of handling situations professionally and discreetly, some employees seem to enjoy creating a scene. One particular member of staff, the tall man who is usually behind the tobacco counter, has been especially unpleasant. In my experience, he is unnecessarily aggressive, raises his voice at customers and comes across as dismissive and belittling. I have also noticed him speaking disrespectfully to women, which is completely unacceptable. What I find most disappointing is that there never seems to be any accountability. I have never received an apology after poor treatment, and the same behaviour continues. It makes me wonder what kind of management allows this culture to persist. On top of that, customer service is almost non-existent. Staff often appear more interested in chatting amongst themselves than helping customers with self-checkouts or finding products. The store itself also feels neglected, and the product selection is poor, with far too much emphasis on sweets and alcohol compared with everyday essentials. Shopping should not feel like an interrogation. Customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect, especially when they are simply trying to buy their groceries. Until management takes complaints seriously and addresses the behaviour of certain staff members, I will be avoiding this store and would not recommend it to anyone.

  The security guard was really rude, following me around the shop and being abusive. Then the store assistant started to help and then also became abusive. When i asked to speak to the manager they both refused. I will be going back to the store again to try and speak to a manager before i escalate this further. I am i former tesco employee

  Has everything you could need in a pinch. Not really interacted with the staff but could always see them around if I did need help. Usually no bakery items after 5pm which is a shame since that's usually the only time I come to the store.
