  I recently visited ‘the cafe’, when I first arrived the staff member did not seem interested at all to say the least. She sighed abruptly when I asked for a poached egg as opposed to a fried egg, and was declined after ‘asking’ she shortly and sharply said ‘I’ve been told no’. (May I just add, poached and fried egg have no price difference on the menu) . Moving on, my knife was dirty which threw me off, making me question the hygiene standards. I did not wait long for my food to come out, when it arrived it was served by a nice male. The food presentation was superb! (I should expect it for the price I paid)- the food is mildly overpriced however I throughly enjoyed it. The food tasted delicious! I will comment on the lack of avocado on the AVOCADO on toast. Regardless of this, the food was still enjoyable.

  The food and drinks took a long time to come. The hygiene in the shop is awful. The same lady touching the food was touching the money. The woman cleaning was throwing the bowls cups and other things around I even saw her smash one when I was walking out. Bowls were still on the table when we left that were there when we came in. The food is not fresh either.

  Terrible experience today, waited while the staff talked int Jr back for 5 minutes before my order was taken. Then the pot of tea I ordered wasn't proper hot. Or enough for 2 cups. Waited 20 minutes for food to come to the table. For the price I would expect better.

  Lovely staff as always, had The Brunch (toast, avocado, halloumi, baked beaks, egg, tomato and a flat mushroom) and The Breakfast (full English) which are always good options. Tried out the dragonfruit and mango smoothie today which was really tasty, fiancé ordered the iced coffee which wasn't great (not much coffee taste, mainly tasted of milk). Overall though a great breakfast. I do love that they serve the breakfast/brunch options all day so after a late night out, this is a great option, either for a big brekkie or a healthy option, even at lunchtime.

  Love the Cafe! I have had the Fish & Chips twice now , never disappoints and always a great portion for the price!
