UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE MANAGEMENT I have been a customer at this Tesco Express in Worcester Park for more than eight years, and throughout the years I have generally found the staff to be friendly, helpful and welcoming. More recently, Uthai, Renuga, Anton, Theertha have been particularly friendly and helpful, and I have always appreciated their good customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has changed significantly since the new manager, Saravanan, started. I have found his attitude towards customers to be extremely rude and unprofessional. I have had several unpleasant interactions with him, including arguments, and I have been very disappointed by the way he communicates with customers. After being a customer here for more than eight years, it is frustrating to see the atmosphere and customer experience change so much because of the way the store is now being managed. A manager should make customers feel respected and welcome, and should set a good example for the rest of the team. For me, this is a one-star experience specifically because of the management and the way I have been treated as a customer.

Extremely disappointing experience at Tesco Express in Worcester Park. I purchased a lettuce from this store which was full of tiny insects. When I returned it, the manager, Saravanan, initially asked me to bring back the packaging. I did exactly that, but when I returned, he accused me of swapping the lettuce and lying about where I had purchased it, despite the purchase being confirmed on the store’s system. The issue was only 89p, but the way I was spoken to and treated was completely unacceptable. Accusing a customer of dishonesty instead of dealing with a genuine food-quality complaint professionally is extremely concerning. I hope Tesco management takes this incident seriously and reviews the way customers are treated at this store.
