Corrected her and then got back to work to see that she gave me a sausage roll instead of what I had asked for. Charged me for the chicken bake though so paid extra for something I don't want at all. On top of that the push to get the app is a bit annoying. Will try the bigger store outside the station next time.

I never come to this branch for different issues that will explain, but as I was passing by and was hungry decided just to get a steak bake. I told the lady behind the counter TWO times Steak bake and I paid and left. I forgot to scan my app but to be fair she didn’t even asked and in my local greggs they always do. When i went to give a bite it was VEGETABLE bake, where’s the meat??? no steak… very disappointed. This is probably the last time I will come to this branch. They were not busy at all to say it was a simple mistake… What would happen if I had allergies? Cross contamination? It’s always a disappointment to come by. I love greggs but I can never buy cookies packs or a sandwich because they never have? I was already skeptical as the store always seem quite dirty but always something wrong? You missed a customer here. I wonder where’s their manager? Is this a standard in greggs? The one next my house is always great, even on busy times…

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
