The team appeared to be quite busy, which resulted in delays in service. Although the display board indicated that my order was ready, it was actually handed over nearly 10 minutes later. The service experience could be improved by ensuring better coordination between order status updates and actual delivery times.

⚠️⚠️ STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE⚠️⚠️ Extremely disappointing experience and even worse customer service. My family and I visited this restaurant and spent nearly £60. The restaurant was extremely busy, and we waited a considerable amount of time for our food to be prepared and served. By the time we received our order, sat down, ate our meal and prepared for our journey back to Bristol, we exceeded the parking limit and later received a £100 parking charge. What is most disappointing is not the parking charge itself, but McDonald's response when I contacted them. I provided evidence that we were genuine customers, explained that the restaurant delays contributed to the overstay, and asked them to review the circumstances. Their response was that they do not consider individual circumstances and that if you exceed the limit, you get a ticket regardless. So apparently it doesn't matter if you're spending money in the restaurant, waiting for food because the kitchen is busy, dining with your family, or using the restaurant exactly as intended. None of that matters. A one-hour parking limit at a busy McDonald's is completely unrealistic. Between finding a parking space, queuing, ordering, waiting for food, eating, using the facilities and leaving, that hour disappears very quickly. If the restaurant is running behind, customers are effectively being punished for delays outside their control. The message from McDonald's is clear: eat quickly, watch the clock constantly, and leave as fast as possible. If you don't, you risk receiving a £100 parking charge and can expect no support from the restaurant afterwards. After this experience, my family and I will be staying away from McDonald's for a very long time. McDonald's may gain £100 from a parking charge, but they will lose far more than that in future business from us. Based on the number of similar complaints online, we are clearly not the only customers who have experienced this problem. If you're planning to dine in, be very careful. You may end up paying far more for your meal than you expected.
