I’m at this branch of Tescos weekly and just wanted to say how lovely some of the staff are. Especially a young lady called Jameelia I think? She always has a smile for me and is very efficient at the self checkout and always helps me a lot when I’m with my friend who is in a wheelchair. It can be so hard going shopping with a wheelchair and carrying the shopping too, it’s a logistical nightmare, but this young lady always goes out of her way with a smile to help us!

This Tesco is not safe. You're accosted by very down-on-their-luck drug addicts, alcoholics and mentally ill people when entering the store. My partner was attacked by a naked woman high on drugs running out of the car park and right next to the nursery. The security in this store really do what they can but to what cost? One day one of them will get seriously injured as I have seen 'unfavourables' with bladed articles outside this store. If you go to this Tesco- GO EARLY! The unfavourables are dormant or comatose

I normally buy my meal deal from this Tesco Superstore as I work at a GP surgery nearby, and I have generally bought the sushi meal deal from here regularly. Today, however, I was extremely disappointed. I bought my usual sushi meal deal and, when I returned to work, I found that the rice was sticking together and had clearly deteriorated. It was also the today’s expiry date. I had tried just one piece of sushi before noticing the problem. I ate the snack and drank the drink from the meal deal, then returned back to Tesco to report the issue to customer service at around 3pm. Unfortunately, the response from the customer service assistant was even more disappointing than the food qualit. Rather than listening to my concern, she was extremely rude and condescending and accused me of having eaten half of the sushi! I explained that I had only tried one piece and that the remaining sushi had become clumped together because of the condition of the rice. She then told me that, because the sushi was part of a meal deal and I had not brought back the drink and snack, she could not do anything about it. I explained that I had consumed the drink and snack as normal and had only returned the sushi because it appeared to have deteriorated. I felt that this was an unreasonable response to a genuine food quality concern. I also explained that I am a healthcare professional and would certainly not deliberately bring back food after eating half of it and make a complaint dishonestly. Her response was particularly shocking: **“As you are a healthcare professional, you should have known better.”** I was genuinely taken aback by her attitude and felt that I was being treated as though I was trying to make a dishonest complaint, when I was simply reporting a food quality concern. I eventually left the sushi with her and left the store. I have been a regular customer, so this experience was extremely disappointing. Tesco should take food quality complaints seriously, but customers should also be treated with courtesy and respect when they raise genuine concerns. I also tried to telephone the store afterwards to make a complaint about the interaction, but unfortunately I could not get through to a member of staff using the telephone options! I hope Tesco looks into both the quality of the food being sold and, importantly, the way customers are treated when they raise concerns.
