  Ordered a food and it was lovely, but I did have to wait and whilst I waited one of the staff Raheem was everywhere serving, cashier, cleaning and helping customers. Honestly the man didn't stop. He even showed enough awareness to sort out my long await order. He is the reason I am given my service experience 5 stars. The atmosphere star is one star because of the uber vocal manager, who when she returned to the cafe started having a go at the poor man belittling him and his efforts for the whole cafe to hear. Seriously, if he had walked out I would have clap. If the manager had an issue with his performance she should have spoken to him in private and in a professional manner. Instead, the whole cafe could her comments and nitpicking. Thank you Raheem for your customer service and also the other lady who was working so hard delivering plates of food. (Sorry, I had to tune her out so missed your name). I hope your manager realises her mistake, apologies and works at her tone before 'she gets chuck out.' A phrase, which she used whilst I was tucking in to my food and have bit of peace. To be fair I have seen the manager interaction with regulars and she was welcoming and had a lovely manner with them. It just the telling off Raheem recieved for being banished back to the kitchen was a bit much.

  Reasonably large bright and airy eating and drink area. Staff pleasant and hard working and food is nice. However, what stops me going here more is the long wait to receive the food. For example, today I ordered a large Americano and a tuna toasties. By the time I got the toastie 20 minutes later my coffee was cold.

  Very slow service for Friday midday... I wait about 40 minutes for my English breakfast and the coffee was not busy at all.. English breakfast like everywhere, nothing special.

  Low quality food small portions . Paid £8.25 for a couple slices of halloumi in bread.. no meat or anything I thought the halloumi burger would have meat inside also.

  I recently visited the Tesco Café and unfortunately the food quality was very disappointing. The breakfast did not meet expectations at all. The jacket potato was bland and completely tasteless, and the chips portion was extremely small for the price paid. We spent around £30, which felt like poor value for money considering the quality and portion sizes. The service was not particularly impressive either — nothing rude, but not attentive or welcoming. On a positive note, the seating area was comfortable and the environment was pleasant. The coffee was acceptable, though nothing special. Overall, apart from the seating, the experience did not justify the cost. I hope Tesco Café can improve food quality and portion sizes in the future.
