  The Tesco Store at Goodmayes is second to none. I have been shopping there since it opened. The staff there on all levels are always friendly and helpful. I have been in poor health for sometime now and really appreciate the care and help given to me Thank you all, keep doing what you do best. Looking after your Customers.

  Very poor experience with Tesco’s Scan as You Shop. I am selected for a service check on virtually every single visit. This is not occasional or “random” as claimed—it is consistent to the point where the system is effectively unusable for me. The whole purpose of Scan as You Shop is convenience. Instead, I’m repeatedly stopped, delayed, and made to go through full checks as if I’ve done something wrong—despite completely normal shopping (including buying multiple quantities of the same items). I raised this formally, and Tesco’s response was simply that “nothing is flagged” on my account and no explanation could be provided. That completely misses the point. If a customer is experiencing the same issue every visit, then something is clearly not working—regardless of what your system says. The result is a service that wastes time, causes unnecessary frustration, and offers no accountability when things go wrong. At this stage, Scan as You Shop is more of a hindrance than a benefit. I will be reconsidering shopping with Tesco if this is how customers are treated and concerns are dismissed rather than properly investigated. “A system that consistently treats a paying customer like a problem is not a system I can trust.”
