  I came to this store to do some shopping and I witnessed a shocking incident. Two employees restrained an elderly and very frail man using unacceptable force, in front of several witnesses, over two cans of drink that were not even alcoholic. These two employees, who are of Sri Lankan origin like me, were not wearing security badges. The following day, I returned to the store to ask an employee for an explanation. He made me understand that they take this risk because the instructions come from the General Manager. I asked him whether their employment contract required them to physically stop suspected thieves. He replied that it did not, but that they accept doing this because they are afraid of losing their jobs. I wonder who would take responsibility if a serious accident occurred during such an intervention. I have therefore decided to make a complaint to the police and request an explanation from the store manager. I will also hand-deliver a letter to the store management. I advise customers to avoid this store until this type of behaviour is taken seriously.

  Tesco, der Laden in dem ältere Menschen angeschrien werden, wenn sie schlecht hören u. etwas nicht verstanden haben! So wie heute ein in England u dem Rest der Welt sehr bekannten u. beliebten Schauspieler, der einem Servicemitarbeiter höflich eine Frage gestellt hat. Man geht generell so nicht mit älteren Menschen um!
