  I regularly visit the Tesco Express on Whittington Way, Pinner, and unfortunately I have noticed that some staff members can come across as quite rude and unwelcoming. For example, when we go to the counter to pay with cash, we are sometimes told to use the card payment machine instead. If we wanted to pay by card, we would do so. We have cash with us, and there should be no problem with customers choosing to pay with cash. Today was especially disappointing. My little son was very happy and excited to pay for our shopping himself with cash. Unfortunately, the staff member serving us showed very little warmth or patience and interacted with him in a very cold, robotic manner. It completely took away from what should have been a nice little experience for him. I understand that staff have busy shifts, but basic politeness, patience and good customer service should be expected. I hope the management can take this feedback seriously and remind staff that customers should feel welcome, regardless of whether they choose to pay by cash or card.

  Terrible service and staff. So rude. Had to go around the whole store to find someone to serve me at a till. In the end she threw my change at me instead of handing it to me and it went on the floor under the counter. I stepped back to find it and couldn’t find it so had to walk out without my change. She was South Asian with long curly-ish hair. Probably in her 30/40s A colleague of mine (we work nearby) also comes here regularly and has repeatedly had negative experiences. The staff have such a bad attitude, it’s like the customers are an inconvenience to them

  Useful location but its useless in there. If the coffee machine isn't broken, they won't have cups and vice versa. You could stand at the till for ages and not one member of staff will be around at all. Sometimes they dont even have carrier bags. If the coffee machine isn't broken, they won't have cups and vice versa. More annoyingly is they seemingly shut at random, for no reason and no explanation or heads up at all. Was a sign on the door this morning saying theyre closed. Why? Oh and that bloody door. Sometimes you wait about 10 mins to just get out
