A humble citizen does not deserve even the great scent of the marvellous, nutritious culinary delight that we call Greggs. Not even myself, who loves the brilliant, 5 star experience of consuming the legendary “sausage roll”. I hath never set my sights upon a greater and more miraculous breakfast since the dawn of time. Those who do not see themselves swarming the entrance of this fine establishment should be asked to change their ways of breakfast, and return to this wondrous outlet. I hath not attached any photos or videos, because it was the very night I stumbled upon this… great location (words could not do this justice) that I realised that this experience was too amazing to show, as it would not reflect my honest opinion of this restaurant. Even the great Hercules in all his 12 labors, could not conjure up such nourishing dishes. Therefore, I find this very place to be the utmost pinnacle of human culinary adventures.

It’s right on the main road so easy to get to, and whether I’m grabbing a morning bite or a quick lunch, I know I’ll leave happy. The food is always spot on: pastries are fresh, flaky and piping hot, sandwiches are made daily and taste great, and you can’t beat the prices proper value for money. They always have all the popular items in stock too, plus the limited editions when they come out. But what makes this place really special is the service. Dev is an absolute star, she always welcomes me with such a warm, friendly vibe and has the most positive energy every single time I walk in. She’s quick, helpful, and goes out of her way to make sure you have a great experience. The rest of the team are great too, but Dev makes every visit feel personal and nice. The shop is kept really clean and organised, even when it’s busy during rush hour, and the queue moves fast so you don’t have to hang around. Open early and late so it fits in with any day, too. Coffee is decent, hot, and very affordable. Seasonal items always stocked too. Service: The staff here are lovely! Always friendly, smiley, and fast even when busy. They keep queues moving quickly, polite, and helpful if you ask about items or app offers. A special mention to Shajid, he is always welcoming customers with a positive attitude, every single time I visit. Nothing is too much trouble for the team here. Store: Spotlessly clean, well organised, bright, and tidy. Shelves fully stocked most of the day, rarely run out of favourites. Plenty of space to move around, never feels cramped. Open early (6am weekdays) till late, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a quick snack on the go. Value: Classic Greggs cheap, cheerful, great quality for the price. We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
