- OGO GAug 8, 20261.0Worst service ever. There was only one member of staff managing the till and self-checkout area. When the till would not allow me to put a duly scanned item into my bag, she had to come over to assist. She was unable to resolve the issue herself and called another member of staff for help, but nobody came. After the item was removed and scanned again, I could not continue with the transaction while the staff member was still active on the till. I therefore asked whether I could continue from there. I was simply reviewing my shopping before proceeding to payment when another customer suddenly confronted me in an extremely rude and aggressive manner, telling me that I had to pay and questioning what was wrong with me. I defended myself against her insults, insinuations and verbal abuse. What was particularly disappointing was that the member of staff was standing there and did not intervene or say anything, and no other member of staff came over to stop the situation. Customers should not have to deal with verbal abuse while staff simply stand by. The whole experience was unnecessarily unpleasant and completely avoidable.
