  I was really disappointed with my recent visit to Wagamama. The food came out cold and wasn’t up to the standard I normally expect. All the meat was so dry and honestly didn’t taste freshly cooked at all. Please do better, especially considering other Wagamama branches actually cook the dishes properly and serve them hot and fresh.

  Look, I love a good Wagamama’s .. I tried to give Putney a chance and was utterly disappointed. My first issue started when I realised the staff here, not pay any attention to you and will not be bothered to serve you ..unless you hunt them down yourselves… but at the same time what can you expect these days .. My main point of writing this review is that this institution completely violates all health and safety laws restaurants in the UK are expected to maintain. I saw a teenage boy walking around serving people with nail polish! (Now I have nothing against LGBT, so bear this in mind whilst reading this review my issue is solely based on health and safety). I’m sure many diners felt the same way as I. When my food was brought over by the boy I just knew I couldn’t possibly eat it . I’m not as young as I used to and if God help a piece of that nail polish found its way to my food it wouldn’t end well for me. Overall this Wagamama Putney ‘experience’ was a waste of money as I couldn’t possibly eat any of the food and also a time waster. This was one of my only days off and I thought I could spend it with good company and good food but now I wish i took my friends some place else . Unfortunately this is a massive health and safety violation and I will have to take this further with the ‘Higher ups’. The food looked really nice and I would like to give my compliments to the chefs as I’m sure the food would have been lovely !

  Huge shout out to Steven. What an incredibly lovely person. Pay him 10x more than you’re paying him. He saw that I was sad, looked after me but wasn’t invasive. Steven, if you see this, I’m the sad woman in sunglasses that had the lemon cake. You did more for me than you’ll realise, thank you! X

  What really makes this place is the staff, the lovely waiter serving us was Steven and he recognised us from dropping in before. He explained the menu, was super attentive without being intrusive and generally very friendly. He helped make the experience a very pleasant one.
