  ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL – A LOYAL CUSTOMER TREATED WITH COMPLETE DISRESPECT! I have been coming to this establishment for years, and I am genuinely appalled by what I discovered during my visit today. To my absolute disbelief, I was informed that the manager had been accusing me of not paying my bills. This is an outrageous and completely unfounded accusation. I was able to provide receipts showing thousands of pounds spent at this establishment over the years, and that doesn’t even account for the countless occasions I have paid in cash. What makes this experience even more upsetting is the way I was treated. Throughout our visit, the manager repeatedly gave me looks of what I can only describe as disgust, while I remained completely unaware of the accusations being made against me. It was only when a member of staff, whom we have always liked and respected, approached us politely and calmly that we became aware of what was being alleged. I cannot begin to understand what would motivate such hostility towards a long-standing, loyal, paying customer. The treatment I received has left me genuinely questioning whether there is some deeper-rooted personal prejudice or animosity behind these accusations. Coincidentally or not, this was the first time I had encountered this particular manager, making the entire situation even more baffling. To make such serious and baseless accusations against a loyal customer, without any apparent evidence or even the courtesy of addressing the matter directly with me, is completely unacceptable. What should have been an enjoyable meal with my partner was instead ruined by an atmosphere of hostility, embarrassment and disrespect. I have supported this establishment for years, spent a considerable amount of money here and always considered myself a valued customer. To discover that my loyalty has been met with such treatment is both insulting and deeply disappointing. I will be submitting a formal complaint and expect this matter to be taken seriously. No customer, particularly one who has supported a business for years, should ever be made to feel humiliated, unwelcome or falsely accused in this manner. An absolutely appalling experience, and one that has completely changed my opinion of this establishment.

  I have never had Japanese cuisine and have always been reluctant to go there. Now my daughter is older and goes there, she convinced me to go with her and her cousin. As you’d expect, I didn’t know what to order but may have been too bold to try a signature dish which isn’t proven to be a diner’s favourite and it obviously was a very bad choice! My daughter and my niece both made amazing choices as they know what they eat there. The service was really delightful even though we’d opted to sit outside, it got quite chilly really quickly so we had a change of mind and went indoors but that did not perturb our server (tempted to say Paul but I’ve forgotten his name - that’s on me not him because he was amazing!). I will ensure next time I eat there (if there is a next time), I will opt for a proven diner’s favourite.

  Monday's aren't very busy and so service was swift. I want to give a shout out to Emily, who was the best waitress I have ever come across here. She got me warm water without batting and eyelid and offered to take a photo when she saw us struggling with this. She was fast and friendly. One star lost as I thought the food was a bit salty.

  Really great experience at Wagamama as always. I absolutely love the food here — it’s consistently fresh, full of flavour, and comes out remarkably quickly. The staff deserve a special mention too. They’re always incredibly hardworking, attentive and friendly, even when it’s clearly very busy. Tana was particularly great today — she looked after us really well and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. A real hard worker. Wagamama gets a bad rep but the combination of great food, quick service and genuinely dedicated staff that keeps me coming back to these establishments.
