A modern British tavern on London's Regent Street. Expect great wines on tap, cocktails, cask ales and craft beers including The Wigmore’s very own house “Saison”, brewed in partnership with Bermondsey’s “Brew by Numbers”. Also serving Tavern Breakfast from Wednesday to Sunday.
Ottimi drink e buon cibo. Il toast al formaggio assolutamente da provare. La location è super carina e curato.

We had Sunday Roast and Fish. Roast was underwhelming. Potatoes had that chalky reheated taste : Gravy had a cheap premix quality; Vegetables miniscule. Taste average. The Cod dish was absolutely tiny . Not worth the premium prices. When we commented to waitress about size of fish portion her response was ..." Alot of people say that". Service was mediocre given the few customers and many waitresses. Disappointed. A Tourist trap.

We visited The Wigmore as a group of four and were genuinely impressed. It is technically a pub, but the overall experience is much closer to that of a very good restaurant.
There is a stylish bar area where you can simply walk in for a drink, as well as a separate dining room that is best booked in advance. The dining area is beautifully designed in elegant green tones, with comfortable sofas, armchairs and cushions. Everything feels refined, welcoming and very well thought out.
The menu is not extensive, with a fairly small choice of starters and main courses, but everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. All four dishes were served together, which we really appreciated. The service was professional, attentive and well organised throughout the evening.
Considering the quality of the food, service and surroundings, the prices are extremely reasonable - even surprisingly affordable for a place of this standard. We left very happy and would highly recommend The Wigmore for its atmosphere, excellent service, tasty food and great value for money!
