  A amazing afternoon. Afternoon with staff and management. During dinner there was a young gentlement called Max. What we didnt know was he was on a triel shift.. well what a fanastic person. Caring efficent and happy to help. I am pleased to report that he was successful and is now one of the amazing team. I would recomened visiting and seeing how this place is run. The manager deano is on point. He has the exact balance qith his staff. The news rwports that young people do not want to work, this certainly does not apply to the staff heree. I have some enjoyable chats this afternoon. And can say they are hard working and working towards there goals. I think the goverment need to give credit to some of the younger generation. Not enough is said a out the ones that work, run late shifts, study while they try to save up towards some form of depoit towards there road ahead. So shout to all the team Max,Jess, Maisie and the the fanastic Deano

  Max was our server this afternoon as are all the staff he was amazing. Well we didn't know it was a trial shift. You would have never guessed. He was professional, attentive and amazing. I am know doubt he will be a amazing addition to all the other staff. Overseen by manager Deano who has a unique way of bonding with the staff also managing to be a productive boss.

  Absolutely loved The Marquess Tavern! Such a gorgeous pub with an amazing atmosphere — warm, cosy, quirky and full of character. The décor is incredible and gives the whole place a really special feel. The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and the staff were superb — friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout. It’s one of those pubs that gets everything right: beautiful surroundings, great food, lovely drinks and genuinely brilliant service. Couldn’t recommend The Marquess Tavern enough. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back! 🍷✨

  The Marquess Tavern is a cute and charming neighbourhood pub that has become a favorite. I’ve been a few times now for both large group celebrations as well as more intimate dining and each time have always loved the great atmosphere and warm vibe. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating and the food is so delicious! I especially love their back garden area which accommodated my group reservation for 20 people without a problem. Definitely recommend!

  Very disappointed on our first visit here Sunday 23rd August at 4.30pm. Food was really nice. Service was appalling, rude staff. Not in the least bit welcoming or friendly. Maybe a bit more training required on customer service, clearing tables ( not stretching across the table in front of customer eating!) Staff clattering dishes behind us at the bar, very noisy! Not a very relaxing, enjoyable meal. Sorry we won't be back.
