Wonderful pub with friendly and welcoming staff. Everything is down to earth at The Hope and the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. It’s a lovely welcoming change when so many pubs in London suburbs are getting beyond themselves with ridiculously high prices …. and there is the massive winning point with The Hope - the prices are fabulous. Pubs need to stay alive and open these days and this one is certainly doing a great deal to ensure that happens. Highly recommended!

This is the heart of the community. The landlady Sarah is the most warming caring land lady. The things she has done for her community. Go above and beyond. Not many pubs like this
