  Fridges and freezers back to working! Staff were so lovely, even handing out chocolate at the door to celebrate! As it’s the only affordable place for groceries near me, I’ve also found the issues over the past few months inconvenient but have noticed on multiple occasions staff receiving verbal abuse from customers about it. They have continued to be friendly and helpful in spite of what I’m sure has been a gruelling few months, my thanks to the staff!!

  I was disappointed with the condition of the chilled section in this store, as much of it appeared to be out of order or poorly maintained. I purchased a chicken drumstick from the limited selection available, only to find that it had already gone bad well before the stated expiry date. I normally buy my groceries from Sainsbury’s and have never experienced anything like this.

  Appalling. Fridges and freezers have been out of action for the best part of 2 months. Some temporary units have now been added (making it almost impossible to get down the narrow aisles), but low supplies of many items in the store in general. No explanation from staff in store, aside from the generic note out the front. I've complained repeatedly to the CEO's office and this is their latest response on 10/6/26: "Thank you for getting back in touch and I am sorry to hear that this issue is still ongoing. Due to the increased temperatures, we have seen instances where our chiller units have broken down or otherwise been impacted due to this. We are working with our engineers to get the units working again as quickly as possible. This is not an inherent fault with the electrics of the stores but instead the units being unable to regulate the temperatures properly due to the rapid increase in outside temperatures. We don’t have an estimated date for when the issue will be fully resolved. But our maintenance team are working hard to ensure the repairs are completed as quickly as possible. Thank you again for contacting us and please accept my apologies for the inconvenience this has caused." Doesn't fill me with faith. And no idea why a store that is around 2 years old would have such huge issues with all of it's fridges and freezers at the same time. Tesco, it's time you got your act together. Or give the lease to another supermarket that can actually provide basic services.

  Like others, it's been well over a month and there are no fridges or freezers working, no chilled produce... it's incredibly ridiculous and nobody at the store has any information when it will be resolved. It's shocking that this can go on for so long without anyone from corporate acting on this issue. The fact that this has happened before suggests a more systemic building wide issue with the new builds...

  The produce doesn't last a the best of times. But they've not had full functioning fridges and freezers fir months now. They've brought in temporary fridges to help but turns the whole shop into a maze with barely anything priced correctly. This shop has always tended to the more expensive end of the scale. But the current situation is ridiculous
