  Security guard and duty manager extremely unprofessional accused me of theft. Security guard only apologised when told to by manager. Manager only offered one after being promoted. Extremely unprofessional staff and not made to feel welcome at all.

  This is my local tesco for over 30 years the staff has always been amazing helpful. But the fresh produce qaulity is absolutely awful the veg from this place doesn't even last a day before they become mouldy. I bought back a pack of tomatoes today 26 jul 2026 I bought these yesterday they went moldy overnight I got a refund. I will stop buying all perishable food from this store due to bad qaulity. Tesco earns billions a year in profit its time people wake up , food qaulity is poor.

  I had a great experience at Tesco Superstore 825 High Road Leyton. The store is always clean, well-organized, and convenient for everyday shopping. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with any questions. The customer service is excellent, and shopping here is always quick and pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and welcoming supermarket!

  I bought two bottles of wine from this store and they forgot to remove the alarm on them. It took me a couple of weeks until I had to visit the photobooth today and brought the bottles with me. I brought the receipt with me and told them they forgot to remove the alarm. They started asking me incredible senseless questions like "So you bought this a month ago, but didn't drink it still?" "No," I said, "I have other things going on in my life I just had a chance." They told me they had to check the CCTV and that return policy is 28 days. I told them they're very welcome to check the CCTV and that I didn't come here for a return but for them to remove the alarms. The men continued asking HARASSING questions like "How come you didn't drink it? This is so unusual? Did the alarm not go off when you left the store?" until one of the female staff kindly removed the alarms from me. At the door, the security who harassed me with questions also STARTED RECORDING ME, for no reason, and starting threatening me: I'M GOING TO CALL THE POLICE. I need the deputy manager or head of Tesco to see this. This is unacceptable. I'm a customer, who purchased and paid for the products with the authorization of staff (I wouldn't be able to scan them in the first place otherwise) and came with my receipt. There is no rule as to when I need to consume those purchased products or when I might have time to again to visit the store: it should not be allowed for the staff to treat a female customer like that.
