  I’m so glad this store is there, it’s well needed for the community. It just needs more cashier staff, getting out takes too long. Having so many closed tills is frustrating!!

  Always plenty of parking space. Beware of the guy outside asking for your trolley to pocket the £1 inside, nothing wrong with a little charity but dude, get a job.

  I had a very unpleasant experience with a Tesco staff member called Gladys. She was rude, dismissive, and spoke to me with an unnecessary attitude. Her customer service was poor, and she came across as if she thought she was above the customer. That is not acceptable. No matter how long someone has worked there, basic manners and respect should still be expected. Tesco should seriously consider giving her refresher training in customer service, because the way she dealt with me was unprofessional and left a bad impression.

  continues to demonstrate a commendable commitment to existing in approximately the same place every day. This level of consistency should not be underestimated. Upon entering, I selected a meal deal, but the meal deal appeared to have selected me first. We reached an unspoken agreement and proceeded without incident. The refrigerated section emitted the reassuring confidence of a glacier that had recently completed management training. A banana observed me from a respectful distance. I appreciated its professionalism. One member of staff scanned my shopping with the precision of someone who has accepted that time is both linear and optional. The self-checkout informed me there was an unexpected item in the bagging area despite the fact that the only unexpected item was the emotional burden I had brought from home. Eventually it apologised. I accepted. Outside, a pigeon stood near the entrance wearing the expression of a regional supervisor. Nobody questioned its authority. The shelves contained food in a manner that strongly suggested food shops should. I purchased hummus, batteries, and a packet of mints that looked as though they had witnessed several constitutional reforms. Overall, Tesco Express remains one of the locations currently available. I intend to return, assuming the pigeon approves my application.
