  This is my local Tesco store I go there 3 to 4 a week to shop one of the Africa tall lady with glasses 👓 she was very rude for no reason I was wandering how she got the job there or Tesco doesn’t care about customer care at one point she said to me call the head office I don’t care, she pushed me with her arm with no apology unbelievable staff most often I saw people arguing with this is serious problems with this Tesco store they need give more training to the staff ….

  Thursday 30th July Early morning meal deal run, 06:15am, wanted to give thanks to the blond lady who was working the self checkout tills, very positive & friendly that day. There was an issue with my meal deal, the drink (Tango Cherry Zero) wasn't scanning through properly so it wasn't the £3.85 advertised, but she sorted it out, explained that it was a till error, and that it happens all the time, she then adjusted it to Fanta orange on the till for the correct £3.85 but I still got to keep the TangoCherry. Think it probs hit harder cuz I was on my 3rd day of some kinda fever 🤒😷 just finished a night shift myself, and needed to get some calories in before I went to bed, Tescos was the only shop open that early, been many times, last time when I had the same issue, another lady told me to bring it back and select another drink which was a bit of a bummer 😕 So yea, much love, shiiet dawg she even said goodbye when I left, and a wave, don't get that in London. Bless her 🙏

  A few weeks ago I faced the most racist encounter at this store while standing the queue for checkout. The man was standing in the queue talking to a woman in front of him ( the woman seemed extremely uncomfortable talking to him bc they didn’t know each other). The queue moved forward but this guy wasn’t moving ahead and I had to put my stuff on the belt. I very politely said, “ Sorry, may I pls put my stuff on the belt?” He started muttering something which I didn’t hear first, when I asked him, he said, “ Why did you ask me to move? I was standing in peace and you disturbed me. You wouldn’t have asked me to move if I was a white man.” I was so shocked to hear this. I told him that I just wanted to put my stuff on the belt and he started saying that I was an ugly and nasty woman, and I should just go back to where I came from. The cashier was seeing all this and chose to stay silent, with a smile on her face btw. The man was also common closer to me and I felt so unsafe at that point but couldn’t move forward because he was standing there. I’m so disgusted and angry by what happened and I have boycotted this tesco now. I used to go in there quite often but I’m never stepping my foot in a place where the cashier is smiling at racist slurs. Tesco, you should have security in the store and have cashiers who have brains.
