Great tesco but staff not trained well enough in asking for ID. 16+ for a redbull and the staff refused to let me buy it because i look younger than 25 but older than 21??

Store charges £1.50 to use a trolly and only one electronic charging point which is out of order with no sign on. Nice one Tesco, I’m off to Morrisons in Ealing

Excellent assortment for all ethnic groups, a bit of organization is lacking but I understand it because perhaps the company policy to pay workers less takes a fairly basic level

Big store with only two members of staff on the tills, while all of the trolley self-checkouts are card only. I had my own shopping to complete, as well as a separate, smaller shop for my mother, which she had given me cash for. Because I had a trolley with my child in it, I was apparently not allowed to use the basket-only self-checkouts, even though my mother’s shopping was easily a basket-sized shop and there were cash options available on those tills only. It makes absolutely no sense to restrict customers with trolleys to card-only self checkouts, particularly when there are cash-paying customers who have no other convenient option. This Tesco seriously needs to reconsider its checkout system. Cash should remain an option regardless of which checkout a customer is using.
