  Very big Tesco with customers toilets and good parking space.

  Large store with sizeable clothing section for men, women and children. Fresh produce section is also quite big. Car park can get very crowded. They have lots of parent and child parking bays but they are ALWAYS full.

  Selling expired products. Clearley staff and department managers not doing a good job. Photo taken 13/06/2026. Always long ques on normall tills and self services ladies want to stand on the floor and have a chat with each other rather than managing the long ques. Employ more staff to open more checkouts instead of running the branch on skeleton staff.

  At 6:40 inside Tesco at the checkout, my partner and I needed help because the machine said an assistant was needed. We called over a young Black man who was in charge of that area, but at first he didn't want to help us. We called him back because we needed his help, as he's the only one with a card to unlock the machines so we could pay. He yelled at us that it was full of people and that he was the only one there. I understand that it's his job to help customers when requested, but the young man discriminated against us. First, he wouldn't help us, and how were we supposed to pay? Then he started yelling and complaining that he was the only one there to support other people, but there were only two of us who needed help: my partner and me, and another older couple that he also didn't want to help. This happened at the Tesco Extra in Edmonton. He's a young Black man with curly black hair. If he didn't want to do his job, there was no need to yell or discriminate. That guy had plenty of energy, and if he didn't want to do his job, all he could have done was call one of his coworkers to help us. This discrimination only happened because my boyfriend's clothes were dirty, but he was like that because he's a mechanic and had just finished work. We went shopping, and I hope the situation improves because, just like this happened to us, there are other people who are also discriminated against at that Tesco Extra in Edmonton. But there are other people who don't complain, but this situation is regrettable.
