  Baffled at the poor reviews. We used this Tesco many times whilst staying at a nearby hotel for 3 days. Clean, spacious, well stocked for everything we needed during our trip (meal deals, water, fruit, hot and cold coffees and fresh croissants!) Felt safe in the evenings having a security guard greet us at the door. No problem using the self service machines. Very efficient! One member of start (Mohammad) was extremely kind today when I’d put my shopping through the till and had to nip back out to get my Tesco card from my husband who was waiting outside with our luggage) overall this store is ideal for provisions if you are staying nearby. Right by East India DLR station.

  They always open late and once asked me out of the store as I entered 2 minutes before stated closing time. Appalling, as other reviews say.

  Good range of products for a general quick pop in but while staying in the nearby hotel I've tried to shop in here - says closes at 10pm but was closed by 9:50pm the last 2 nights in a row. Also when I went in though the day I was trying to buy paracetamol which needed authorising, I ended up leaving it on the till as no one at all came after waiting a decent length of time, staff were just in the next aisle and i asked them to help me out.

  I visited this place staying at Travelodge the staff are the most disrespectful I've ever encountered I went to purchase a few items and was followed round by 3 members of staff making me feel intimidated they need to be more customer friendly and helpful instead of blanking you

  Visiting from out of country. Staying close to this location. We walked down. The store was clean and well stocked. There’s security. The workers were very friendly and helpful. We found everything we needed and we received assistance in locating a few other items. I was happy with the experience.
