  Very unpleasant experience in which a staff member made up an entirely false and malicious allegation and directly raised it in a confrontational and borderline aggressive manner. Upon being confronted and told their allegation was entirely untrue and that they should apologise, they lied again that they had already apologised. Then pathetically claimed that they 'were not a liar' when the self-evident fact was pointed out to them, admittedly with some force. When I brought this issue to the attention of management, I did not receive the courtesy of a reply, let alone an actual apology. It is no surprise to read in other comments that minority group members have been harrassed and treated in an utterly unacceptable way in the store. I would suggest that the management educate their staff on how to live in a multicultural city like London, as there are obviously quite a few 'cultural adjustment' issues here. I don't discriminate against others, and I expect to be treated likewise. Aside from this, the store is otherwise poorly stocked and unclean with lazy, unhelpful and rude staff. I would suggest that the Tesco management read the many one-star reviews and employ new staff and presumably store management. You should also have a proper complaints procedure in place.

  Came in today at 6:52, asian guy was removing those metal carts outside, he is very rude, I ask him if tesco is open and he doesnt acknowledge my existence then after a minute emotionlessly response 7:00 in a low tone… staff in this tesco are extremely rude and did not feel welcome… another asian man older aged i say excuse me to ask him a question and he doesnt respond to me up until i stand in front of his face and ask him… the only worker today that was polite was the blonde woman behind the till she was superb, the rest honestly should be fired (i am refering to workers via ethnicity and hair colour as I dont know any of their names).

  I would like to comment about the members of the staff at Tesco Holland Park for their outstanding hard work. Everyday they interact with a large number of customers from everywhere always remaining professional, patient and helpful. No matter how busy the store becomes or how challenging some situation may be they continue to treat everyone with respect, positive attitude. Employees like this are great asset to Tesco and deserve recognition for the effort to put in every day to make a real difference to customers. Special thank you to Prasanth for the great work being so helpful and for his quick response to solve the problems, I do my shopping daily to Tesco Holland Park, and always he’s been quick to help me out in finding products, also with any other issues, many thanks for being so helpful positive and always giving a smile
