Very disappointing customer service. I politely said, “Excuse me, could I ask you something?” three times to a staff member, but he ignored me. As I started to walk away, he finally responded with, “What do you want?” When I explained that I was looking for noodles, he pointed towards some near the till behind me and said, “What is this?” His response felt rude and condescending. Customers can easily overlook an item, and asking for help should not result in being made to feel foolish. The woman at the checkout also needs to be more polite when interacting with customers. Basic courtesy costs nothing, and customers should be treated with respect. This experience makes me question whether the friendliness and customer service skills Tesco expects during interviews are consistently reflected on the shop floor. Those standards should be demonstrated in everyday interactions with customers.

Had a wonderful time at this store. When my friend stepped aside for one of the staff, he even said "Thanks, boss" - Polite, and efficient service.
