  Had ti shop here they only had branded goods. I was shocked at the prices. Everything is so expensive.

  Horrible service I went to purchase some items and I arrived at 10.50pm on a weekday the store closed at 11.00pm and as soon as I came in the automatic doors was shut so I opened them and the security guard approached me shouting saying we are closing in 2 minutes even though the store closed at 11.00 all the staff were telling me hurry up and get out and telling other customers the store is now closed even though we had 5 minutes till closing rude staff and horrible services AVOID AVOID AVOID.

  Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to complain about the treatment of my friend when we visited Tesco in Walthamstow on Saturday 7th March. At around 3-4PM, we were paying for things on the self-service desk. I was wearing a camouflage faux fur coat and my friend was wearing a red tracksuit with a black gillet jacket. One male staff member who initially aided us with cancelling some items from the basket told my friend she was banned from the shop. She asked him, “Do you want me to leave”. He said, “Yes”. My friend left after she handed me £20 as we were buying things together. He went on to tell me that she was a prolific stealer in Tesco and the shops neighbouring it. She is not this person as she was subjected to racial profiling and mistaken identity. Both of us are educators and this means you cannot work with children or adults with previous or current criminal convictions. I am saddened this happened to us as we frequent this shop when we visit another friend. We do not feel welcome after this situation.   I live only a few yards from this store and have been shopping here regularly for the past three years without any problems. Recently, I started wearing a hijab, and since then I have been followed twice by the same security guard. Today, I was stopped and asked how many items I had purchased, and other staff members said it’s ok she bought 4 items. I am always dressed smartly and have never given any reason to be treated with suspicion. I politely asked the security guard whether this was because I am wearing a hijab. I found the experience uncomfortable and upsetting. I hope reviews this matter to ensure all customers are treated fairly and respectfully.

  Wow what a let down this place is staff called jeya who has a bindi on her forehead is extremely rude and needs re training. She called a customer mental please management look into this this is unexceptable i will be reporting this to head office
