  Very disappointing experience at Tesco Aldgate East. I visited this store last Thursday and it was honestly one of the worst Tesco experiences I’ve ever had. I was trying to buy alcohol, but the pricing information was confusing and inconsistent. When I asked for help, several staff members seemed unsure about what products were actually in stock and couldn’t provide clear information. The only person who genuinely tried to help was a member of staff in a wheelchair, who was polite, professional and made an effort to assist me. Unfortunately, the rest of the customer service was extremely poor and unhelpful. I’ve shopped in many Tesco stores over the years, but this was by far the most frustrating experience. Better staff training and customer service are clearly needed.

  A very handy Tesco near the hotels, which was great for grabbing some essentials like fruit, water, and snacks. However, the staff is quite rude, unfortunately.

  Absolutely ridiculous service by a female member of staff, who refused to take cash payment few weeks ago, said to me we don't take cash, when i said, I will report then she said OK I will serve you, and today again at check out showed very unprofessional behaviour, when she over charged me for one box of EGGS, upon pointing out over charge, no apology and took very long to refund. she definitely need re training, she was serving me at the same time was doing something on the phone as well. This store looks like manager less store,

  For the last two years customer service went down. The self service screen stuck and we moved to another machine as we always do. Customer assistant instead of help told us to make our way back and started scanning our items at machine with problem, moving our bag and items, perhaps trying to help. We have not heard any words of "please" or "thank you"! We did not want to use the slow self service machine but we were forced to do so! Arrogant and rude helper, I have never seen him in the shop before! But thanks to casher who has seen it and went to help us! She was polite and helpful but not the young new guy!
