Really good little tesco with a wide variety of items and meal deals options. I would although suggest they have the bakery items for hygiene purposes away from the entrance as an awful smell of urination comes from the outside due to the location. Store is regularly cleaned by an automatic robot mop. Some staff seem to be a little on the rude side but most are very helpful and friendly. I iswell have been watched on quite numerous times by Staff and felt really uncomfortable. There are times when contact less payments do not work in the store so you will need to have a physical card or cash which is most times disappointing if I have left for a quick meal deal from work. Overall the experience I have had in this store is neither the best or the worst. Enjoy.

This Tesco is, somehow, too Tesco.
I appreciate that this is a difficult criticism to level at a Tesco. It is, after all, a Tesco. One should reasonably expect a certain amount of Tesco upon entering.
But this one has gone too far.
Everything is intensely, unmistakably Tesco. The blue is very blue. The red is very red. Clubcard prices are everywhere. Every available surface appears to have been considered and, where possible, Tescoed.
There is no neutral territory.
You enter through Tesco doors into a Tesco entrance, collect a Tesco basket, walk beneath Tesco signage and immediately encounter an enormous display informing you of something you could have for £2.50 with a Clubcard.
I have a Clubcard.
And yet I feel threatened.
The meal deal section is particularly Tesco. Almost aggressively so. Sandwich. Snack. Drink. The familiar yellow circles. The little Clubcard logo. A selection so archetypally Tesco that I briefly wondered whether I had entered an actual supermarket or some sort of Tesco training facility where new Tesco managers are shown the theoretical concept of Tesco.
Even the customers somehow seem more Tesco.
Nobody appears surprised by any of this.
They move confidently between the aisles, scanning Clubcards, selecting Finest products and navigating promotional displays as though this degree of Tesco is completely normal.
Perhaps it is.
Perhaps I am the problem.
I tried retreating to the household aisle for some respite, but it was worse. Tesco washing-up liquid. Tesco sponges. Tesco kitchen roll. Tesco bin bags. Tesco antibacterial wipes.
Tesco has apparently considered every aspect of my domestic existence and developed a product for it.
I picked up a sponge.
Tesco.
Of course.
Eventually I reached the self-checkout, where I was welcomed by Tesco, scanned my Tesco meal deal, scanned my Tesco sponge, presented my Tesco Clubcard and paid Tesco.
The receipt emerged.
Tesco.
I left feeling slightly overwhelmed.
Outside, I looked back at the enormous Tesco sign above the entrance and realised that at no stage had the company misrepresented what was going to happen.
Excellent stock levels. Good meal deal. Efficient checkout.
Just slightly too much Tesco.
4/5.
Would Tesco again, but perhaps after a short break from Tesco.

To be honest it's not a bad tesco but for a tesco that opens at 12pm on a Sunday that's just absolutely ridiculous especially for the location it's in. Considered the closest one to Tottenham Court Road Station and oxford circus station very very popular places in London yet they open at 12pm on a Sunday which is just ridiculous should be open much earlier if not make it 24 hours

6 of the 12 self checkouts out of order, none of the 4 manned checkouts staffed, and the remaining self checkouts on a slow-work strike. Queued for about 10 minutes and a similar length queue for paying cash at newsagent kiosk.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Tesco store on Dean Street today.
I visit this store regularly during my lunch break and have never previously had an issue. At around 2:15 pm, I purchased a juice and a discounted fruit box. After leaving the store and beginning to eat the fruit, I noticed that the pieces had an unpleasant smell and did not appear suitable for consumption.
I immediately returned to the store and explained the problem to a staff member named Ragini, who said she was the manager. Unfortunately, her response lacked both empathy and concern. I was told that nothing could be done and that purchasing discounted food was the customer’s risk. When I asked where this risk was stated on the packaging, I was told that she could not argue with me.
I explained that I had not returned to argue—I was already getting late for work. I simply expected the concern to be handled professionally and reasonably, particularly because spoiled food could cause stomach or other health problems.
The minimum expectation from a manager is to listen respectfully, acknowledge the concern and offer an appropriate resolution. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and disappointed.
I am posting this review so Tesco can investigate both the product-quality issue and the way the complaint was handled. Poor customer service can damage trust in the brand, while food-quality concerns may potentially affect customer health. I am also considering reporting the matter to the local council’s food-safety team.
