  I had a bad experience at the 130 Seven Sisters Road Tesco Express this evening, 9:30pm on Friday 14th August. I’ve shopped at this store many times over the years. As I’m checking out some fruit at the self-checkout machine, the security guard walks over and questions whether I’ve correctly entered the number of fruits, before I have even had a chance to do so. No customer, and certainly not a regular one who plays by the rules, likes to feel they aren’t trusted or respected in a high street grocery store, or treated like a criminal. For me, just being treated like this once, is reason enough in principle to stop going to this supermarket chain, and I’m sure I’m not the only customer who would feel this way. There was no store manager present who I could raise this issue with in person, and I wasn’t going to start an argument with a security person. I don’t blame the security guard, but I do question their training or the security policies of the store if this is how Tesco customers are being treated. You can’t have it both ways Tesco: first you close the regular tills where a store employee checks the items out for you; and then you question customers’ integrity and honesty, when they are forced to check out the items themselves. Then do it for us, if you don’t trust us to do it ourselves. The security guard may have been new or overzealous in the absence of a store manager. Either way, it left me with a very poor impression of the Tesco brand and store management. Even if there is occasional theft from this store, surely this is not how you tackle it. Do better! In the meantime, I’m just going to insist on a store employee doing the check-out for me at the regular till from now. I’ll be that fussy customer who refuses to use the self-checkout.

  Mai sunt încă vreo 10 minute până închid și nu mă lasă să intru , programul arată ca la 23:00 închid deci mai avem timp să intru dar nu m-au lăsat
