    Besides the usual wait for someone to serve you, I’ve now had 3 experiences of being charged more for items than the indicated shelf price. I’d urge everyone to check your receipts before leaving the store. Can anyone please clarify: are express stores owned by individuals or by Tesco? Why can’t one use the Tesco app here to buy club card specials? I was told by a staff member that it only applies to bigger stores. The point of having a club card then? Otherwise is has everything needed for an express store.

    Prices here are noticeably higher than in larger Tesco stores, and the aisles can feel cramped, especially during busy times. Sometimes key items are out of stock, which defeats the point of a quick stop in shop. Overall, it’s handy when you’re in a rush, but not somewhere I’d choose for a full shop. Does the job, but nothing special.
